The World Is Not Paying Attention To Ghanaian Musicians- Fuse ODG
UK-based Ghanaian artist Fuse ODG born Nana Richard Abiona has said that although Ghana boasts of best talents in music, the world is not paying attention to them as they should be.
According to the ‘Antenna’ hitmaker, when it comes to music, Ghana has the best talents in the world.
He made this revelation on Joy Prime’s EWITHBECKS Show.
“I always tell people especially those abroad that Ghana has some of the best talents in the world. It’s just that the world is not paying attention to us how they should be”he said
According to Fuse ODG, Streaming is the only way the rest of the world will know about Ghanaian musicians.
The singer was in the news recently for lashing out at Africans for giving preferential treatment to the whites when they come to Africa but Africans don’t get the same treatment when they travel to the ‘Whiteland’.
The singer is currently out with a banger dubbed” ‘Bra Fie’ which features Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley.
Fuse ODG is best known for his 2013 hit single “Antenna” which peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart.
He has excited lovers of music across the world with hit songs such as Antenna, Azonto, Dangerous Love, Million Pound Girl, T.I.N.A, No Daylight among others.
The singer happens to be the first Ghanaian to win a Grammy award for his contributions to ED Sheeran’s ‘Divide’ album.
Ed Sheeran’s ‘Divide’ album won Best Pop Vocal Album at this year’s Grammy Awards.
