Teachers of Ejisuman SHS interdicted for bonking students
Nine (9) teachers of the Ejisuman Senior High School in the Ashanti Region have been interdicted for allegedly sexually abusing female students of the school.
The affected teachers were allege have forced the female students to stroke their manhoods with some of them engaging in sexual intercourse with the students in return for examination marks, tillylive.com can report.
Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Madam Cassandra Twum Ampofo who revealed this on Joy Fm said the affected teachers are not expected to teach pending the outcome of investigations from Regional Disciplinary Committee.
A seven-member fact finding mission according to the PRO recommended the interdiction of all 9 who were culpable in the alleged sexual abuses.
It would be recalled in January this year that Female Students of the school called on security agencies to save them from sexual abuse and harassment from some male teachers and non–teaching staff of the school.
A final year student of the school who spoke on a local radio station, on condition of strict anonymity confirmed that most of the teachers were constantly harassing them for sex in exchange for school fees or grades.
However, the Governing Board of the School profusely denied that teachers in the school are sexually involved with the students accusing the Nkosuohene of Ejisu, Nana Kofi Poku, of waging a campaign to damage the image of the school.
The Chief after threatening to leak sex tapes involving some of the teachers if they dare him insisted they are taking undue advantage of the poor students to satisfy their unbridled sexual libido.
Consequently, a seven-member fact-finding committee was set up and recommended the 9 indicted be interdicted pending the outcome of the Regional Disciplinary Committee.
