Just a month ago the man behind Stonebwoy’s smash hit,’Mane Me’ expressed his displeasure for the reggae/dancehall artiste not paying him for the beat to the song.
Vacs, the man behind the beat said that attempts to reach Stonebwoy and his management in order to get some appreciation have proven futile.
However, there have been new developments as a popular Twitter user identified as Cracker has revisited the case.
According to Cracker, he will delve deeper into the issue from now onwards until it is resolved.
Taking to his twitter handle @crackers_Lab he said Vac, the producer of “Mane Me” would take legal actions against Stonebwoy if he has to sell his studio equipment to file for this in the court.
Cracker shockingly revealed that the Manager of Stonebwoy, Black Cedi phoned the producer and threatened him and he added there is back up of the phone call and threats made.
He cautioned Stonebwoy to sit down with the producer and come on an agreement else the issue will never fade.
” @mastergarzy,@stonebwoyb and his team claim@Vacsonit has no right to be compensated for the beat. Now tell them how you got the data for the “Mana Me” beat.it’s about time you started acting right when it comes dealings involving music producers. “he tweeted.
The ‘Mane Me’ song which features MUgeez and Nigerian singer Praiz, was part of Stonebwoy’s ‘Epistles of Mama’ album.
Recalled that in an interview on Hitz FM a month ago, Vacs disclosed that he was never paid for his beat and that the only compensation he got for the song was the acknowledgement on the cover of the album.
“At least show appreciation. You are making money so at least you can give me something” Vacs said.
