I’m Not Sharing Same Stage with any A-list Artiste Again – Shatta Wale Warns
Shatta Wale has made a strong statement as part of his revolutionary approach in the music industry.
According to the Zylofon Music act, he won’t perform on the same stage with any A-list musician again.
The award-winning reggae/dancehall musician, by extension, warned event promoters/organisers to refrain from such acts which inveighs against his values now.
”I don’t like A-list artistes, I like underground artistes — I like those people, I don’t want any A-list artistes on my bill…All the A-list artistes have lied to the generation coming up,” he stated.
The ‘Gringo’ hitmaker made this statement, among others on Zylofon 102.1 FM’s Showbiz Agenda program hosted by Arnold Mensah Elevanyo on Friday, November 16, 2018.
According to him, these A-list artistes are full of lies and hype while adding that the media plays key role in this regard.
He mentioned the likes of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Samini as the musicians who are full of hype.
When quizzed how he can put these acts on the same pedestal [his values], Shatta Wale noted that he has a plan for Ghana music, so these musicians to ”shut up and follow my [Shatta Wale] values.
Shatta Wale is currently in London for his ‘Reign Concert’ tonight at the Indigo in the O2.
