I Was Tasked By The Police To Film Ebony’s Corpse – Mortuary Man Speaks

The cliché, ‘the devil you know is better than the angel you don’t know’ is indeed true. Yesterday, February 28, 2018, Ghanaians especially family members of the late Ebony wanted to burry live the mortuary attended at Bechem regional hospital following the leak of Ebony’s corpse on the internet.

As usual of Ghanaians, they started throwing jabs and calling for the arrest of the man who’s in charge of the Bechem regional hospital’s morgue. However, after listening to different version of the unfortunate development as narrated by a close friend of the fugitive mortuary attendant, it’s evident that he’s innocent of all the backlashes.

The moment you’ve been waiting for is here as the mortuary man at the center of the videoing of the nakedness of Ebony and Franky Kuri has spoken for the first time after the viral videos.

According to him, he was tasked by police investigators who came to the mortuary to film it for them to assist them in their investigations and that he did nothing wrong. The popular mortuary attendant who has gone into hiding relayed this vital information to his close friend.

The anonymous friend told Ohemeng Tawiah of Kumasi-based Nhyira FM that the mortuary man who has become the talk of Ghana is a man of good repute who recorded the video for evidence as instructed by the police. He, therefore, asked the other attendant to film the corpse while he kept turning them for good shots.

“He was asked by the pathologists working on the bodies to go and check if the bodies were ready to undergo autopsy, he took videos of them so it could be used as evidence,” the friend told Ohemeng Tawiah, pleading for his anonymity.

Regardless the Police have, however, declared the mortuary man wanted for the criminal act. But then, if this latest revelation of the issue is anything to go by, then what it means is that the police as well as the mortuary man are all ‘guilty’.

As a reminder, Ebony, born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, died in a tragic accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road with two others after their travelling Jeep runs into collision with VIP bus. Ebony is due to be buried on 17th March, 2018.
