Building collapses on 15 kids at Agona Swedru

The Sunday school children of the Voice of the Lord Church were trapped in the collapsed building until officers of the Fire Service and the police stepped in to rescue them.

Several people numbering up to thirty-five (35) injured including fifteen (15) children have been left injured when a sunday school building collapsedfollowing a rainstorm at Agona Swedru.

The Agona Swedru District Police Commander Superintendent Kwesi Yerenkyi said the situation is under control and the police are working to protect lives and properties.

They are on admission at the Agona Swedru Government Hospital and Lins Clinic. Several other houses also had their roofs ripped off with some collapsing completely injuring the occupants during the rainstorm.
