Black Sherif’s 2nd Sermon Ft. Burna Boy Sparks Hot Reactions Among Top Pundits, Sarkodie Not Spared.

2 min read

One who does not follow showbiz or entertainment in Ghana may say that from nowhere, a young chap called Black Sherif is now everywhere in almost all households in Ghana crossing into other neighboring countries in West Africa.

But I bet to differ. Black Sherif had his very first break with a song of his that went viral with a short skit titled ‘Cry For Me’ in the month of July 2019. This short him fairly into the limelight and gave him the opportunity to have the likes of Tulenkey and AMG Armani on his second single titled Money (the remix).

Fast forward this year 2021 in June, we all woke up to another viral song from the same guy but this time around, the calm young man in ‘Cry For Me’ and ‘Money’ has grown ‘violent lyrically in his 2021 first single ‘First Sermon’. This gave him another mileage especially after Sarkodie gave him a repost across his social handles and soon after, Hammer of the Last Two music also followed up with a repost on his Facebook handle. Soon he became a topic on social media.

He then followed it up with ‘Second Sermon’ which also catapulted the whole vibe across the country and even beyond and that is when Burna Boy came into the picture after he was found enjoying the ‘Second Sermon’ in an Instagram live video and singing it word for word. That did not end there, Burna Boy went a step further by dropping a verse on the song for a remix. From the very day, the remix was announced via a video posted by Burna Boy on his Instagram handle (@burnaboygram), the big names in the showbiz industry here in Ghana seem to have no rest.

First, George M. Britton first took to his Facebook handle and posted…

Secondly, Kwadwo Sheldon came up with his Breakdown.
